A single statement wall in a living room, bedroom, dining room or hallway. The most common wallpaper scope in Edmonton homes. We prep the wall, account for pattern placement and hang the feature wall level and centred.
All four walls, ceiling included where required. Pattern matching across every corner and seam. We measure and cut to account for pattern repeat before any paste goes on.
Stairwells are one of the harder wallpaper jobs because of the angles and the height. We set up properly, account for the rake of the ceiling and hang each drop accurately.
Reception areas, boardrooms, hotel rooms and retail spaces. Commercial wallpaper jobs often use heavier commercial-grade vinyl. We handle the weight and the coordination with building management.
Old wallpaper removed properly before new wallpaper or paint goes up. We score, soak and strip without gouging the drywall underneath. The wall gets repaired and primed before the new finish goes on.
Installing wallpaper over an existing painted surface requires the right primer. We assess the existing surface and apply a wallpaper-specific primer before hanging so the adhesion holds.
We assess the walls, measure the space, check the pattern repeat on the wallpaper you have chosen and give you a fixed written quote that covers material waste allowance, prep and installation. What it says is what you pay.
We book a start date and hold it. Most wallpaper jobs are completed in one to two days. Stairwells and full-room installs may take longer depending on the scope.
Walls filled, sanded and primed with a wallpaper-specific primer before anything goes up. Priming is what prevents the paste from absorbing into the wall unevenly and causing bubbles or adhesion failure later.
We measure and mark the wall before cutting. Pattern repeat is accounted for before the first sheet is cut to minimise waste and ensure the pattern lands where it should on the wall.
Sheets hung level and plumb from a true vertical reference line, not the corner of the room which is rarely truly plumb. Seams pressed and smoothed. Excess trimmed cleanly at ceiling, skirting and architrave.
Paste residue cleaned off surfaces, surrounding area left clean, leftover rolls labelled and left on site for future repairs.
Roman Pro-977 Ultra Prime and Zinsser Gardz are our standard wallpaper primers. Applied before installation on new drywall, repaired surfaces and previously painted walls. The right primer is what prevents adhesion failure and makes removal easier years down the line.
We use paste appropriate for the wallpaper type. Standard paste for paper-backed wallpapers, heavy-duty adhesive for commercial vinyl and pre-pasted activation for pre-pasted products. Using the wrong paste for the material is a common cause of seam failure.
We do not supply wallpaper as a standard part of the quote. Most clients source their own wallpaper from suppliers such as BURKE DECOR, Wallpaper Direct or local Edmonton suppliers. We advise on quantity, pattern repeat allowance and material suitability before you order.

A single feature wall is usually done in half a day. A full room runs one to two days depending on the pattern complexity and room size. Stairwells take longer because of the setup required for working at height. We give you a confirmed start and finish date before work begins.
Yes but the wall needs to be primed with a wallpaper-specific primer first. We assess the existing paint condition at the walkthrough and apply the right primer before hanging. Skipping the primer is why wallpaper over paint often fails at the seams.
Yes. We remove existing wallpaper, repair any wall damage underneath and prime before the new wallpaper goes up. Installing new wallpaper over old wallpaper causes adhesion problems and the seams of the old paper show through.
We measure and plan the pattern placement before cutting the first sheet. Pattern repeat is accounted for in the waste allowance on the quote. We centre the pattern on the feature wall or the most prominent wall in the room and work outward from there.
